These are plans from many different kite makers. Some you may have seen on other web sites and some you may not have ever seen.
From each of these plans, diagrams or text files, you must draw the full sized kite to make your template or pattern for the kite's skin.
Most of the kite plans listed here call for a carbon fiber rod for the bow of the kite. Bamboo can be substituted for the carbon fiber rod. If you use bamboo, cut the bamboo to the length of the
bow called for in the plan, then shape the bamboo so when its ends are positioned at the wingtips of the kite skin, the bow shape fits closely to the curve of the bow shown in the kite plan.
